Account & Data Deletion Request

At EyeLog by Applot, we respect your privacy and provide you with complete control over your personal data. You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your EyeLog account and all associated data stored on our servers.
Warning: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, your account, prescriptions, profiles, and uploaded attachments will be unrecoverable.
Method 1: Delete Account In-App (Recommended)
To delete your account immediately using the EyeLog app:
- Open the EyeLog app on your device.
- Tap the Account Settings icon in the top right corner.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm deletion (re-authenticate if prompted via Google, Apple ID, or Password).
- Your account, prescriptions, profiles, and media files will be immediately purged from our servers.
Method 2: Request Deletion via Web / Email
If you have uninstalled the app or no longer have access to your device, you can submit a manual deletion request by contacting our support team:

Subject line: EyeLog Account Deletion Request
Please include:
- The email address associated with your EyeLog account (if applicable).
- A brief request for account & data deletion.
Our support team will process manual deletion requests within 30 days after verifying your identity.
What Data Is Deleted Upon Request?
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently purged from our servers and local cache:
- Account Identity: Your Firebase Auth profile, user email, and unique User ID (UID).
- Prescription Records: All eyeglasses and contact lens prescription entries and history.
- Uploaded Assets: All paper prescription scan photos, custom PDF logos, and signature images stored in Firebase Cloud Storage.
- Profiles: All personal and family optical profiles created in your account.
Data Retention
We do not retain any copies of your personal optical records or uploaded media post-deletion, except for minimal transaction logs required by law or store policies (e.g. store billing receipts maintained by Apple/Google).
